Petition against TfL's overdevelopment of South Kensington tube station

A major planning application has been submitted for development around South Kensington station - planning reference number PP/20/03216. To view the application and submit your own objections please click the following link - but please also do return to this page to sign our petition: link.

Your local Conservative Councillors and residents' associations think that this proposal is a clear case of over-development, and a design philosophy that ignores the world-famous heritage of South Kensington.

Whilst South Kensington station needs step-free access and increased capacity this application is mostly about massive developments surrounding the station. This may have a significant impact on the conservation area and listed buildings that make South Kensington special.

Petition against TfL's proposed overdevelopment of South Kensington tube station

  • Current Your details
We, the undersigned, reject TfL's proposed overdevelopment of South Kensington tube. Whilst we welcome and encourage plans to upgrade the station itself and make it suitable for disabled passengers, the current plans for development around the station go far beyond what is suitable for such an historic landmark in our wonderful part of the city.
