What's the threat to the Royal Brompton?
A merger between Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust, and Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, has unfortunately been agreed. This means decisions about local patient care and service provision are now being taken by Guys and St Thomas' to suit their interests and not those of our residents.
To show our strong opposition to this merger, our local MPs, local Assembly Member and local RBKC Council have joined forces along with local residents, demonstrating the support felt by our local community for keeping the Royal Brompton and its services here in the Borough - providing care, employment and world class research in RBKC.
How can you help?
Please support our campaign with local residents to keep the Brompton and its services at its current site:
1. If you could please share with us your opinions and feelings on the importance of the Royal Brompton to our local community, this will help us lobby government ministers and key NHS decision-makers. We will keep you updated of anything we hear while fighting for this important cause.
2. If you would prefer to keep updated on any information we receive, but do not yet wish to share your views on our campaign, please do subscribe to our Save Our Brompton Hospital mailing list so that we can keep in touch with you.
