Andrew Lownie gave a spellbinding speech about Guy Burgess and the other Cambridge spies at The Reform Club just recently. He talked about Maclean, Philby, Blunt and others. He had researched his book for 30 years.
He will give a slide presentation and will be showing photos not seen before and lent to him by the Burgess family. His book would make a good Christmas present.
