The Conservative-run Council has developed a plan to tackle the recent lockdown-related recent spike of Graffiti in the Borough.
☑ Dedicated Resources
☑ Cutting Red Tape
☑ Action on both public and private properties
☑ Demanding TfL and Network Rail clean up their acts
The Conservative Councillors and Leadership Team have unanimously supported a motion put forward by Cllr Lloyd North (Campden) and Cllr Hamish Adourian (Earl’s Court), mandating the Council to provide more resources to this problem and find a way to navigate some of the red tape surrounding graffiti removal on private property.
OUR PLAN:
• No further need to seek permission for removal
• Notices can be served on premises
• Preventative measures to be taken on hot-spots
• Dedicated graffiti team across the Borough
Immediate focus will be on hot-spots such as:
Earl’s Court, Ladbroke Grove and Portobello, High Street Kensington, South Kensington amongst others.
In the meantime, if you spot graffiti near you, you can report it here: rbkc.gov.uk/contact-us/report-problem and our dedicated team will ensure it is cleaned up.
